The Vodafone Fijan football 30-member squad marched into camp on Monday as they prepare for their Philippines tour this month.
The Bula boys will take on the Philippines in Manila at 3pm on March 22.
National Head Coach, Christophe Gamel said they were trying to sort everything out within the two weeks preparation period.
“We are currently missing some of the players and once again we are struggling with selecting our best players for the team,” Gamel said.
“However, we will have a discussion with the heads of Fiji Football with regards to the team selection and we hope to get some support and dedication from the districts as I have seen some potential young players competing in the super premier challenge.
“Our first day of training went on well but it was a bit slow. We are expecting the Philippines team to play a fast game and they are technically very advanced with their skills.”
“We will also play in the artificial grass and that will be quite a challenge for the boys as they had been training in the normal grass here but nevertheless we hope for the best outcome from our home team.
Meanwhile, the final squad will be named later this week and will depart for Philippines next Tuesday.
