Defending champion Dynamic Builders FC upset Jakalz FC’s debut, 6-1, on Sunday in the opening of the 2nd Conference of the North Football League at the Ayala North Point pitch.
Showing its championship experience, Dynamic disregarded Jakalz’s defense as Noel de Oca went through the back four and struck the first goal in the early three minutes of the match.
With Dynamic smoking hot, veteran defender Jason Cordova joined the scoreboard as he registered his team’s second goal in the 12th minute as teammate Nenito Alcano added another goal, two minutes later.
Dynamic scoring continued to rain at the goal in the following minutes with Ryan Lirio nailing his club’s fourth goal in the 20th minute as Ian Treyes scored in the 35th to close the half, 5-nil.
In the second half, Jakalz tried get back on track but was good only for a goal in the 66th minute by B. Gumbatayao as reigning MVP Jason Panhay sealed the game with his share in the 76th minute.
Another powerhouse club, Ceres FC outscored Silver Dragon FC, 7-1, behind Joshua Fegidero’s three goals.
Fegidero nailed the first goal just after the kickoff as defender Lemuel Unabia made it double in the 9th minute, while Janrick Soriano had another in the 23rd minute.
However, Silver Dragons FC’s Renz Guevarra succeeded in the 30th minute to cut the lead down to two goals.
But Fegidero sizzled as he scored two more goals in the 36th and 39th minutes to post a 5-1 advantage at the break.
In the second half, Ceres continued to surge with Unabia and Soriano adding two more goals in the 55th and 58th minutes to seal the win.
Trimaxi FC, on the other hand, crushed Las Buenas FC, 4-1 , to register victory in the opening of this conference behind the goals from FJ Serios in the 21st minute followed by Ryan Hermida in the 23rd minute, as Eliseo Palomo scored another in the 29th minute for a 3-nil lead in the first half.
LBFC pushed hard in the second half but Garret Parcon made it more difficult after scoring Trimaxi’s fourth goal of Trimaxi in 63rd minute as Marson dela Torre got the consolation for LBFC in the 73rd minute. Games resume on Sunday./
