LOYOLA MERALCO stakes its unbeaten record against a Nomads squad that has been the surprise package of the United Football League season so far at Emperador Stadium in Taguig.
Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. with the Sparks, who have 13 points from five matches, looking to grab the lead ahead of idle Global and Stallion.
A win by Nomads, on the other hand, will put them level with the Sparks, who were held to a
1-1 draw by Kaya last Tuesday.
Sparks striker Phil Younghusband rued his team’s inability to finish off Kaya.
“For a team like Loyola, we should be winning every match and being in an advantageous position, we should finish better,” said Youghusband.
Kaya and Army collide in the 5:15 p.m. kickoff between struggling sides.
