Presscon Set Sunday for Azkals-Guam Friendly Match
Local organizer of the friendly match between RP National Football Team Azkals and Guam on Tuesday, June 12 starting at 7PM, Panaad Park and Sports Stadium in Barangay Mansilingan will meet the sports writers in a press conference with the teams on Sunday, June 10, at Luxur Place.
Mr. Junnie Lizares, president of the Visayas Football League and the local event organizer of the FIFA International Friendly match said proper coordination with Philippine Football Federation (PFF) is taking place along with sponsors ABS-CBN, Smart Communications, Pepsi Cola, Gatorade, Nature’s Spring, Kia, SVG Fertiplus, Havainnas and Libresse.
This Independence Day football tourney is organized by event organizer Pinky Abaño of Pink Idea Production. Abaño said the Azkals are expected to arrive tomorrow, June 9, while the Guam Shinbusters will plane in on the following day.
Tickets for the game start at P200, P400, P600 and P1,000. Fans that wanted for the P1,000 and P600 tickets are guaranteed with reserved seats at the grandstand where they can have an unimpeded view of the Azkals vs. Guam tussle, she added.
Tickets are available at Luxur Place, Mushu, Robinsons Place, Sky Cable, Seeds Outlets, Scrubbles at 888 China Town Square, Shakey’s Lacson, Café Bobs, ABS CBN and the Provincial Tourism Office.
On June 12, tickets will also be available for sale at Panaad starting 9 a.m.
Lizares said, this is an A Team match that holds the FIFA world rankings and the result of the game against Guam national team will affect the Azkals team standing that is currently at 148th place. Guam is ranked 194.

I hope there are more games like these NT games in the South area and also in Mindanao. In the future sana maglaro din ang national team natin Northern Luzon.

always this mentioning of the ranking....sure it will affect our rankings..when we win against Guam we will even lose 3 ranking points (from 164 to 161) => see Fifa callculator
