DEFENDING champion Metro TMS and the Aquino Coliseum-Kilusang Magkaibigan Multi-Purpose Cooperative (KMMPC) kept their unblemished record intact after edging their respective opponents in the Davao Football Association (DFA) Men’s 2nd Division league at the Tionko field Sunday.
Metro TMS thrashed the Eden FC, 9-0, for its third consecutive win.
Eric Salubides spearheaded the Metro TMS attack with a hat trick, scoring in the 27th, 51st and 89th minutes while teammates Jorge Valenzona (5th, 48th) and Eric Sedighfor (32nd, 55th) netted two goals each. Kim Panguiton and John Conde also chipped in one goal each at the 60th and 62nd minutes, respectively.
KMMPC, meanwhile, hacked a 5-1 victory over the Solido Youth FC to improve its perfect win-loss record to 3-0.
Iko Villano led the way for KMMPC with two goals. Jamil Mangampo, Renee Valdesco and Gerard Bermeza contributed one goal each for KMMPC.
Enzo Magno of Solido Youth FC netted a goal at the 36th minute in a losing campaign.
The Solido Fil-Chi United finally barges into the win-column after defeating the Intangibles FC, 2-1.
Jay Miguel propelled Solido FC to its first victory after netting two goals.
M7 United also got the share of the limelight after beating Instatech, 4-3, behind the goals of Peter Pardo and Oliver Elcid.
Metro TMS and KMMPC sit atop the standings with identical win-loss records of 3-0. M7 United is at third spot with a 2-1 record. Solido Youth FC, Solido Fil-Chi United, Intangible FC and Instatech, meanwhile, are tied at 1-2 apiece.
