4 Players Resign from the Philippine Women's Futsal Team in protest !

 A major shake-up has hit the Philippine Women’s National Futsal Team as 4 key players, including Captain Isabella Bandoja, have stepped down in protest against alleged unfair treatment by the Philippine Football Federation (PFF).

 What Happened?

The PFF abruptly scheduled a training camp during the holiday season (Dec 26-30) for the upcoming AFC Women’s Futsal qualifiers in January.
Players were told attendance was mandatory or they’d face dismissal.
Longtime coach Vic Hermans, who built the team over 3 years, was reassigned to the men’s squad with no explanation.

The players voiced frustration over the lack of planning, unfair demands, and sudden leadership changes—just months before the FIFA Women’s Futsal World Cup 2025, which the Philippines is set to host.
