Some Clubs sold their shares or partner with big companies so as to keep up with ever rising cost for playing on a league or cup . Add on to the demands of salaries and high maintenance of the new generation players. Almost all the club owners have their own woes and torment, and asking UFL to help a club because they were not able to get their own sponsors is not fair for everybody.CQCU thinks and presume that people will blame UFL for their decision of not showing up.But the boat turned around against them because of this unprofessional act. They could have gotten more sympathy if they backed-out before the start of the league due to their financial standing. The point here is they demand UFL to act on their problem (which every has), and practically solved the problem by boycotting a scheduled game so that UFL will be forced to heed to what they want. In my opinion this is very unprofessional.

Yes, I believe that UFL needs room for improvement , but it takes one step at a time. They are not close to perfect like any other organizing body around the world, but for sure with the cooperation of the Clubs and a firm stand , they will get there.

For me UFL had contributed a lot for the promotion of football in the Philippines, and I highly commend them for that.

This is my opinion and you are entitled to your own

If CQFU have known their status from the very start , they could have done something Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4558039822687564906.post-35530201740164786962013-02-13T13:03:03.738+01:002013-02-13T13:03:03.738+01:00mas bobo ka! kapag nasa manila kasi mga players na...mas bobo ka! kapag nasa manila kasi mga players naka hotel sila pati may bahay na nirentahan! so ang cebu hindi nagiisip! malamang mas makakamura ang stallions sa ginagawa nila! This 1 game could have been their share of the nine and there are 8 more. But it turned out they did not show up obviously as a form of Protest or Boycott. The method they use to get a result is a big issue , some may think of it as fair , democratic and legal , but i think of it is foul , dictatorial and illegal. The end result should not always justify the means. There is what we call " Ethics" in sports,UFL should not permit such actions without the necessary consequences.

The Visayan Clubs and Players are good if not the best , and belonging to a club , may it be on the 1st or 2nd and even the 3rd division , should foster that sense of responsibility and professionalism.

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4558039822687564906.post-24532832005028972582013-02-12T12:51:19.957+01:002013-02-12T12:51:19.957+01:00I don't think it's QCU's lone fault. ...I don't think it's QCU's lone fault.
