IMHO, he's too slow and a liability in defense. ASEAN national teams are mostly composed of small players with fast paced attitude. If Dooley and Caligdong can't scout opponents then they will have problems in the coming Suzuki Cup. Why would PFF put Chiefy directly as Assistant coach in the Mens category when he doesn't have enough experience in handling those kind of guys? Maybe the technical department wants to please Nonong Araneta our PFF president as both ar from iloilo province and more projects will be given to the tech department as they prioritized Iloilo coaches than other ones who are more intelligent and passionate with more experience than him. Being a player in senior teams for many years doesn't make you a very good coach immediately especially if your experience in coaching that level hasn't been started except for the Azkals. And besides, Chieffy is only an AFC 'C' license holder with course in Germany for two weeks not related to UEFA license. Dan Palami really knows football in the Philippines isn't it?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
